With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, you’d be forgiven for dreaming about the new racy lingerie you could buy for yourself or the gorgeous, fresh fragrance you may acquire if your partner has been taking notes.
But we guess it’s not all about treating ourselves… so, here at EyeFitU, we’ve put together a simple guide so you can sort out his Valentine’s Day gift without further ado. Last year, Valentine’s Day trends showed ladies were leaning towards gadgets and tech gifts for their significant others. We think any wardrobe addition beats this, though.
So is he in the good books? Then read on for what to buy to put a big, sloppy smile on his face.
Accessories are being celebrated more and more in the men’s collections. If your lover appreciates jewellery as much as you do then surprise him with an understated ring, chunky chain or collected charm necklace. The latter was popular across the Paul Smith and Gucci shows and will become a key piece, especially as T-shirt necklines lower for spring. Alternatively, invest in a timepiece that he’ll cherish forever (whilst also making sure he’ll never be late to your dinner date again).

There’s always a pair of classic Calvin Klein’s. However, boxer shorts for next season are having a nostalgic moment – think retro colours with a homespun feel. If you’re all about cuddling up during these winter nights, some new loungewear is the best Valentine’s gift. Select calm and minimalist pieces with tempting to touch textures.

Planning a summer holiday with your love? Then some swimwear this Valentine’s Day will remind him of the beautiful times to come and have him dreaming of the sunshine. Choose from retro stripes with pastel colour palettes and contrast drawstrings or saturated brights that show off a tan.
Last but not least, brand new sneakers are the unexpected (but highly covetable) present for 14th February. If you’re feeling the love (and he’s brave!) then a fashion-forward red pair are perfect for the occasion. White out pairs remain popular whilst khaki kicks are enjoying their moment right now.
Not spoiling your boyfriend or representing singletons the world over this year? Then, why not check out our What she really wants for Valentine’s Day gift guide? It’s the perfect excuse to treat yourself or spoil your BFF.
